About Me
Hi! I'm Tsvi Mostovicz, currently working as a Senior Verification Engineer at Intel. I've been in the verification field for over a decade now. Before Intel, I spent time at RAD Telecommunications, AMD, and Marvell, focusing on things like creating UVM and Specman testbenches from scratch, defining methodologies, implementing continuous integration (CI) flows and more.

A little background about me: I grew up in Belgium and moved to Israel after high school. I spent seven formative years at Yeshivat Kerem BeYavne, which had a huge influence on me. Currently, I live in Meitar, about 20km to the east of Be'er Sheva.
I started programming when I got a PSION mini-computer as a teenager, which came with a user guide for OPL. When it came time to pick a career, I figured I wanted to have a better understanding of what made software tick. Electronics felt like the natural choice. I earned my BSc in Electronics from JCT in 2009, while enjoying a newfound love for Linux and Open-Source. I had the wonderful opportunity to work as a student at JCT's IT department.
What drives me? I love writing clean, modular code, figuring out how all the pieces of a system fit together, and teaching others what I've learned. I have a deep passion for Python and Git, as well as decrypting elegant RegEx's.

I've had the privilege to talk at PyCon IL 2024 about creating a Plugin architecture in Python. At CDNLive Israel 2016, I presented part of the work I did at RAD, using Jenkins and Cadence vManager to automate our regressions.
Outside of work, I have a lot of different interests. I maintain the Jewish calendar integration for Home Assistant, along with its underlying library, py-libhdate, and I'm the one behind the Specman language syntaxes for Sublime Text and VSCode. I also am into genealogy and love digging into historical accounts. And of course my daily dose of Jewish learning.
